Tim Vorachak

Tim Vorachak (he/him) was born in New Hampshire and completed undergraduate studies at UNH, making him a first-generation college graduate. Tim moved to Burlington, Vermont in 2019 to find a place to call home. He discovered a passion for teaching when coaching ultimate frisbee to high school students in 2020 and has been coaching ever since. Tim has worked in education as a paraeducator since 2021, and he is currently a special educator at Essex High School on a provisional license. He is passionate about helping neurodiverse students and believes in culturally-relevant, equity-based practice. Outside of education, Tim enjoys all things outdoors including cycling, snowboarding, fishing, and playing ultimate frisbee. Tim is currently pursuing his MAT through Saint Michael’s College and is excited at the prospect of being a DEW Scholar!
